So I recently wrote an article for my good friend Ron Hudson at his new blog SocialMediaMastermindTulsa.com. The article was titled SEO Meets Social Media and I really put a lot of time and effort into the article. Here are some of my favorite points from the article:

“Here is the problem though, most people think SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is hard and is too technical to understand. As for Social Media, many of you think it takes too much of your precious time. Here is what I have to say about all of this. “GET OVER IT.” Okay, so that was a bit harsh, but come on, if you had a way that you could combine both of these wonderful techniques to drive thousands of targeted visitors to your website and to totally crush your competition, then would you at least spend one (1) hour a day on it? Well I sure hope so!”

So I love the part where I tell everyone to “GET OVER IT” cause it is so true. We all are busy but yet we all want to make money as well, so get over yourself and get to work.

My interview this week was with the smart and interesting Ron Hudson. Be careful because his stories and advice will draw you in and you won’t be able to stop listening above or reading the transcript below. Ron gives amazing advice on how to be successful in this down economy that you can’t miss.

Garrett: Hello, everybody, this is Garrett Pierson here, ‘Your SEO Mentor’. I’m here today with Ron Hudson, of Howtoinfluencepeoplenow.com. How are you, Ron?

Ron: I’m great. Thanks for having me, Garrett. How are you?

Garrett: I’m good. I’ve had a wonderful day. I’m happy it’s the weekend. I’m going to relax with the family. I can’t complain.

I just want to give a quick overview of you, Ron. If I make any mistakes, you can correct those. Ron is the CEO of Success Strategies Research International, Inc. Ron is an author, radio talk show host, and he is trained in CMNLP. Ron, you’re going to have to tell us what that is, in a second here. He is a business growth strategist and strategic influence trainer and coach. He has had the privilege of training sales people at companies such as Coldwell Banker, Dean Witter, Goldmine Software Corporation, New York Life, Cellular One, Lexus, and many others.

Some of Ron’s specialties, again, are the NAC and NLP. Again, we’ll get into that in a little bit more detail, but marketing strategy optimization persuasion, joint ventures; the list goes on and on. This guy knows it all.
